Life is about discipleship, not the perceived American dreams for the life we like to imagine! When people get the wrong perception about Christ and what they think He is supposed to be doing for them, they turn on Christ and His Church when they feel let down. Anyone bitter with unbelief because they believe Christ failed them is just someone who never really understood what it was Christ had for them in the first place. And by the way, it was, and is better than they imagined!
